Director Maruthi who is growing by stature from film to film is all set to director a big hero in the form of Venky. Maruthi has delivered three consecutive hits - Ee Rojullo, Bus Stop and Prema Katha Chithram (somebody else's name is credited as director for technical reasons). He is currently directing Sirish for the prestigious Geetha Arts banner for Kotha Janta movie. Maruthi's film with Venky is titled as Radha. Venky has a hit sentiment with feminine titles (Lakshmi, Tulasi and now Radha). Nayantara who acted with Venky for Tulasi is doing female lead.

Venkatesh is doing the role of home minister and Natantara is doing the role of a middle class girl. Radha is a love story which is targeted youth and family crowds. This film will have regular technicians of Maruthi's movies like JB (music), Uddhav (editing) Richads Prasad (cinematography). This film will be launched on 16 January and regular shoot starts in February 2014. DVV Danayya produces this movie on Universal Media banner.
