If you are a regular viewer of TV serials, you won't need to be told who Mounika Guntuka is. She has carved a special place in the hearts of the audience with her performance in the serial 'Punnagu', telecast on Zee Telugu. She is doing two more serials for the TV channel, essaying Priya in 'Gundamma Katha' and Pramila in 'Sooryakantham'.

The star of the small screen is all set to make a splash on the silver screen very soon. Talking about her debut, Mounika says, "Since I have been doing TV, I am getting a lot of offers from the film industry. I will make a debut very soon in a very good role in a promising film."

బుల్లితెర వీక్షకులకు మౌనిక గుంటుక ఎవరో ప్రత్యేకంగా పరిచయం చేయవలసిన అవసరం లేదు. జీ తెలుగులో ప్రసారమైన 'పున్నాగ' సీరియల్ తో టీవీ ప్రేక్షకుల్లో అభిమానులను సొంతం చేసుకుంది. ప్రస్తుతం జీ తెలుగులో మరో రెండు సీరియల్స్ చేస్తున్నారు. 'గుండమ్మ కథ'లో ప్రియా, 'సూర్యకాంతం'లో ప్రమీల పాత్రలు పోషిస్తున్నారు. ఇన్ని రోజులు బుల్లితెరపై అలరించిన మౌనిక, త్వరలో వెండితెరపైకి వస్తున్నారు. మౌనిక మాట్లాడుతూ "సీరియల్స్ నటిస్తుండడం వల్ల, సినిమా అవకాశాలు చాలా వస్తున్నాయి. మంచి సినిమాలో మంచి పాత్రతో త్వరలో వెండితెర ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు వస్తాను" అని అన్నారు.
