The founder of Telugu Desam Party and Ex-Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Late Sri Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao's statue was inaugurated in the Parliament campus.

The statue was prepared at Vemuru of Guntur district. It took a time of almost Six months to prepare the Nine feet high bronze statue of NTR weighing a Tonne, the statue was made with an expense of about 13 lach rupees.
