Telugu, Kannada movie Piracy Camcorder arrested in INOX Cinemas, Kachiguda, Hyderabad

Manoj Kumar, 31, was arrested for illegally camcording (Recording movie) for the latest Telugu movie “Paisa” which is released on 7-2-2014 who is involved in recording the whole movie with his Sony HD Camera. The Anti Video Piracy Cell is regularly monitoring the activities of pirates and identified him in INOX Cinemas, Kachiguda who is recording the whole movie of “Paisa” from 10am, 7-2-14.

The Anti Video Piracy Cell and the police team including Sub-Inspector D. Venkat Reddy, Sultan Bazar Police Station together have arrested the accused on 7-2-2014. Investigation revealed that he is illegally camcording / recording the whole movie for illegal money and also confessed that he used the same camcorder in a several theatres (i.e, Inox Kachiguda, Big Cinemas, Prasads Multiplex, Sasikala, Chandra Kala, theaters near RTC Cross Roads. During investigation gathered that Manoj kumar is supplying the camera print to Purna Chandar Rao located in Guntur. Other teams are trying to arrest him.

Presently he was booked u/s 51, 63 & 52 - A(2) r/w 68 (A) of Copyright Act 1957, 66 (A) of Information Technology Act 2000 & 420 IPC

According to the Anti Video Piracy Cell of AP Film Chamber of Commerce, “Manoj Kumar had recorded the entire film and admitted to having illegally recorded other latest films (“1” Nenokkadine, Yevadu, Uyyala Jampala, Heart Attack, Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummedha etc . . . .in the past.”
