The worst ever disaster that took place in the Himalayan region of the Uttarakhand State in June 2013 rendered many homeless and thousands of people went missing without any chance of their being traced. We at PRASADS share the grief of these devastated and bereaved families.

Responding to the clarion call given by the Honourable Prime Minister of India and all the national leaders cutting across the political parties, to financially support the affected families and their rehabilitation by contributing to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, PRASADS have thought it fit to share the grief of these people and contribute its might by donating an amount of Rs. 10 lakhs (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund and handed over a cheque for the amount on 9th July, 2013, to Sri. P Vinod Kumar Reddy, Regional Manager, Vijaya Bank to be deposited in the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund account maintained with them.

PRASADS salute the timely and unparalleled efforts put in by all the concerned especially the Indian Army and the Air Force in the rescue operations of the pilgrims stranded at the Chardham destinations.
