With the monstrous success of HanuMan, which caught the attention of the whole nation, behind him, Prasanth Varma has moved on to his next. He has already revived the project, Octopus, which he had to set aside to focus on the post production of HanuMan. The project’s filming is on right now, we hear.

Featuring Anupama Parameswaran in the lead role, Octopus will have thrilling elements like his launch vehicle Awe and will boast of modern taking. This film will have no connection whatsoever with Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU).

As far as the sequel to Hanuman, Jai Hanuman, is concerned, the pre-production is in full-swing, with the makers yet to reach the casting stage. As soon as the casting falls into place, a lot of previsualization will be done on the close-up shots of actors.

Coming to Adhira, which was announced long back with DVV Danayya’s son Kalyan Dasari in the lead and which is a part of PVCU, the pre-production is on. It remains to be seen whether Prasanth will be helming this project or will hand over the reins to one of his assistants.
