Tollywood has been dominated with comedy movies. Horror movies is also a genre which is well accepted by the Telugu audience. However, what happens when the two genres come together to form a story line that will entertain the ‘Mass’ is what has been portrayed in the movie Rakshasudu.

With great movie direction and screenplay, the movie has won many followers.

Conman Masss (Suriya) meets with an accident on his way back from a robbery. This accident gives him a special power that leads him to see spirits around him that nobody else can. The movie revolves around how he makes the best of this situation to take the help of these spirits to recover back the money lost. He also meets his deceased father during the course.

The movie has received a good review from critics and has been said to be a different attempt and a good one. Soulful music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Nayanthara as a beautiful co—star adds up to the charm. Some of the songs in the movie looks picturesque.
