Upasna & Ram Charan will be hosting a Gala in aid of World Wildlife Fund, called ‘Wildest Dreams’ at their remodelled residence.
This event shall see a first of many kinds. Ram Charan shall be making an incredible debut. This time, he wasn’t in front of the camera, but behind it.
At the “ wildest dreams “ gala Ram Charan will make his debut as a wildlife photographer. Some of this pictures include a lion pride , cheetah, giraffes and many more stunning images.
Eminent wildlife photographers including Shaaz Jung, Ejaz Khan & Isheta Salgaocar, will be creating awareness and educating people through this display. Every image has an impactful story to tell highlighting the harsh truth of endangerment and extinction.
WWF is an international organisation, that has been working towards protecting the diversity of life on Earth and the future of nature, since over 60 years. Working in over 100 countries, it is supported by close to five million members, globally.
The ecology of the world at large needs serious attention. The Eastern Ghats ( Andhra & Telangana ) are home to 2,500 species of flowering plants, about 290 bird species and nearly 4,000 insect species. Species and their habitats need to be protected. We need to strengthen the ability of local communities to conserve the natural resources they depend upon.
together we can protect our own planet.
Nature is where we belong and I have chosen a camera to express my passion for wildlife conservation at this gala event.

వన్యప్రాణి సంరక్షణకు నడుంకట్టిన రామ్ చరణ్
ఇప్పటిదాకా కెమెరా ముందు కనిపించే రామ్ చరణ్ కొణిదెల కెమెరా వెనక్కి వెళ్లిపోయారంటే మీరు నమ్మగలరా? నిజంగా ఇది ఆయనకు కొత్త పాత్రే. అది వైల్డ్ లైఫ్ ఫొటోగ్రాఫర్ పాత్ర అన్నమాట. అంటే కెమెరా వెనకే కదా ఆయన ఉండేది. వన్యప్రాణి సంరక్షణ కోసం ఆయన కొత్త పాత్ర ఇది. వన్యప్రాణి సంరక్షణ కోసం ప్రపంచస్థాయిలో చేపట్టే నిధుల సమీకరణలో ఆయన కూడా పాలుపంచుకోనున్నారు. ఆయన కొత్తగా నిర్మించిన ఇంట్లో ‘వైల్డెస్ట్ డ్రీమ్స్’ పేరుతో ఓ విభాగాన్ని కూడా ఏర్పాటుచేశారు. ఇందులో సింహాలు, చిరుతపులులు, జిరాఫీలు తదితర వన్యప్రాణుల ఫొటోలను కూడా ఏర్పాటుచేశారు. ఈ ఫొటోలుతీయడంలో రామ్ చరణ్ తోపాటు షాజ్ జంగ్, ఇజాజ్ ఖాన్, ఇషేతా సాల్ గావ్ కర్ లు కూడా ఫొటోగ్రాఫర్లుగా పనిచేశారు. ఈ ఫొటో ప్రదర్శన ద్వారా ప్రజలను చైతన్య పర్చడమే వీరి ఉద్దేశం. ఒక విధంగా ఇది రామ్ చరణ్ చేసే స్వచ్ఛంద సేవ.
ఈ భూమిని, ప్రకృతిని కాపాడటం కోసం డబ్ల్యు.డబ్ల్యు.ఎఫ్. అనే స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థ గత 60 ఏళ్లుగా పనిచేస్తోంది. అంతర్జాతీయంగా ఐదు మిలియన్ల సభ్యులతో 100 దేశాలలో ఈ సంస్థ తన కార్యకలాపాలను నిర్వహిస్తోంది. పర్యావరణ మార్పుల కారణంగా ఆంద్ర, తెలంగాణ ప్రాంతాల్లో ఉన్న తూర్పు కనుమల్లో అనేక వృక్షజాతలు, పక్షులు, కీటకాలకు రక్షణ లేకుండా పోయింది. కృత్రిమ వనరుల కల్పనతోనైనా వీటిని రపరిరక్షించుకోవాల్సిన ఆవశ్యకతపై వీరు దృష్టిపెట్టారు. మనభూమిని పరిరక్షించుకోవాల్సిన బాధ్యత మన చేతుల్లోనే ఉందంటున్నారు రామ్ చరణ్. ‘ప్రకృతిలోకి నేను కెమెరాతో ప్రయాణించడానికి కారణం ఇదే. ఇది ప్రతి ఒక్కరి బాధ్యత కూడా’ అన్నారు రామ్ చరణ్. ఆయన ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి పూనుకోడానికి కారణం ఆయన జీవిత భాగస్వామి ఉపాసన కొణిదెల. ఈ బృహత్తర కార్యకలాపాలు నిర్వహిస్తున్న డబ్ల్యు,డబ్ల్యు.ఎప్. సంస్థకు ఆమె రాయబారిగా వ్యవహరిస్తున్నారు. రామ్ చరణ్ కెమెరా వెనకున్న శక్తి ఉపాసనే సుమా.
