RGV's upcoming film The Attacks of 26/11, which is based on the terror attacks in Mumbai in 2008, is already making waves. The film has been selected for screening at the prestigious Berlin Film Festival, which will be held in Berlin in February, 2013. This is the first time in recent years that a film directed by RGV is going to be screened at a film festival before it's release in India. The film's shooting has already been completed and currently the post production is going on.
During the film's shooting, RGV has stated numerous times that the film was a life changing experience and also that he couldn't imagine the horror of the victims when terrorists went on killing people mercilessly. Sanjeev Jaiswal was chosen to play Kasab's role and Nana Patekar will be seen as a police commisioner. Parag Sanghvi has produced the film and Eros International is going to distribute the film. RGV has already unveiled the first 7 minutes footage of the film and he'll definitely go on a promotional overdrive from early 2013. The film is expected to release on March 1, 2013.
