Rajamouli’s latest magnum opus RRR has another unique feature to it’s crown. It becomes the 4th Indian film to have a remastered IMAX version. There are very few IMAX theaters in India and filmmakers didn’t show much interest in it as the remastering charges wouldn’t be recovered in India with such a few IMAX screens. And the films should have grand visuals worthy of IMAX experiences. Dhoom 3 and Bang Bang were two Bollywood films which were remastered in IMAX format. It was SS Rajamouli who made sure that Bahubali 2 had IMAX prints after witnessing a resounding and never-before success of Bahubali 1. Now, his subsequent film RRR too gets a remastered version. It's the passion of Rajamouli that resulted in IMAX prints who went beyond limits to provide an extraordinary experience to movie lovers. Ironically, the IMAX license was revoked for Prasads IMAX theater in Hyderabad. And we don’t have a single IMAX screen in twin Telugu states.

However, Telugu movie lovers across the globe are going to have this luxury. RRR is the first Indian film to be released in 77 IMAX screens in the USA. In the UK too, RRR is releasing in the biggest IMAX screen (BFI IMAX in London) in the country. The Australia distributor is planning 5 shows on the release day in Melbourne IMAX theater. The excitement is everywhere around the world to watch RRR in IMAX.
