One of the big releases of this festive season of Sankranthi, Sarileru Neekevvaru arrived at the box office on Saturday and is off to a flying start. The film collected Rs 32.77 crore share on the first day of release, smashing all the previous records of Mahesh’s films.

In Nizam, the film collected close to Rs 9 crore share. Guntur district is the second best region with Rs 5.15 crore. Uttarandhra and Ceded regions posted over Rs 4 crore share while East Godavari and Krishna regions collected over Rs 3 crore share.

Overseas kicked off well too and Sarileru Neekevvaru completed a million and is racing towards 1.5 million. Possibly, the film will touch the mark on Sunday.
