Sekhar Kammula has expressed gratitude to the women working in his team in a Facebook post. 

My hearty wishes to all the women collegeues, actresses and choreographers.. who worked in our Film "Love Story". I wish them all a very happy working womens day.

I specially thank all those women who were part of our Jumba group. They were home makers, mothers and working women. They made lot of sacrifices, gave us time and energy even though film was not their career. They paritciapted in the shoot managing their home, jobs, kids which was never an easy job with Long hours of waiting and gruelling schedules. They never missed a day even during the carona times. Thanku one and all for your incredible support.

i have seen my male associates make a mark as directors. Among the women who have worked with me, some are going be directors. waitng to see that day.”

“ ‘లవ్ స్టోరి' ఫిల్మ్ crew లో పని చేసిన actresses కి, women colleagues కీ.. choreograhers ...happy working women’s day. నేను స్పెషల్ గా థాంక్స్ చెప్పాల్సిన వాళ్ళు - ఈ ఫిల్మ్ లో zumba group కి. వీళ్ళల్లో home makers, job చెసేవాళ్ళూ ఉన్నరు. ఇంటి పని, పిల్లలు, job అన్నిటిని manage చేస్కుంటూ , షూట్ కి వచ్చేవాళ్ళు. గంటలు గంటలు wait చేసేవాళ్ళు. acting అనేది వీళ్ళకి career కాదు. అయినాగాని కరోనా తర్వాత జరిగిన షూట్ లో కూడా వీళ్ళు time కి షూట్ కి వచ్చేవాళ్ళు. ఈ ఫిల్మ్ లో వీళ్ళ contribution కి ఎప్పటికి thankful గా ఉంటా నేను.

నా film career మొదలు పెట్టినప్పటినుండి నాతో work చేసిన అబ్బాయిలు చాలా మంది directors అయ్యారు. 1999 నుండి నాతో work చేసిన అమ్మాయిల్లో కొందరు directors అయ్యే రోజు దగ్గర్లో ఉంది. ఇదే ఈ women's day good news. waiting to see that day.
