After actor Akhil Akkineni took up the #GreenIndiaChallenge in late August where he challenged his brother Naga Chaitanya and actor Varun Tej, the latter finally responded a few days ago.

Sharing that he was busy and that it took time to do it, he wrote, "It's never too late to do a good deed (sic)." He shared photos of himself planting a tree at home.

He challenged his Fidaa co-star Sai Pallavi and actress Tamannaah to be a part of the challenge.

Sai Pallavi responded earlier today with images of herself planting trees, further nominating Samantha and Rana to take this forward.
