Naga Chaitanya-starrer Thank You, which was believed to have been wrapped up after the Russian leg of filming earlier this February, is now being shot at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad for a day. According to a source close to the unit, director Vikram Kumar is filming a scene with Prakash Raj, who is playing a key supporting role in the film. The actor even participated in the Russian schedule. “Chay isn’t required on Tuesday. It’s only a scene involving Prakash Raj. During the first half of last month as well, Vikram shot for a day in Hyderabad. Chay was present that day,” concludes a source.

Thank You, which doesn’t have a release date yet, is from the stables of Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations. A story with all mainstream elements—humour, drama, romance and a little bit of action—it traces the journey of an ordinary guy (played by Chay) who works his way up to become a successful business magnet, with business establishments across the world, and how he wants to thank people who have helped him in his journey. Shot extensively in Hyderabad and Rajahmundry, some portions of the film will see Chay as a hockey player who is a die-hard fan of superstar Mahesh Babu.

Vikram is directing Thank You from a story by BVS Ravi. The likes of Avika Gor, Malavika Nair, Sushanth Reddy (Ee Nagarainiki Emaindi fame) and Jabardusth Sudheer will be seen in supporting roles in the film, while Raashi Khanna is the female lead. A Thaman musical, the project marks Vikram reteaming up with mentor-figure PC Sreeram after 13B and Ishq.
