'Tiger' Nageswara Rao was one of the most ruthless thieves in South India in the 70s. He was like a Robin Hood in his native village and had become a tough nut to track for the police, who had a tough time nabbing him. Now a film is going to be made based on the life of this notorious thief.

Ace producer Anil Sunkara is going to bankroll this movie under AK Entertainments banner. The film will be directed by Vamsi Krishna of 'Kittu Unnadu Jagratha' fame. A big actor is going to play the lead in this movie and the team will divulge the details of the cast and crew soon.

Vamsi Krishna has proved his mettle as a director with films like 'Dongaata' and KUJ. He has been busy currently preparing a solid script for the movie and the announcement will be made shortly. AK Entertainments banner is currently bankrolling Nikhil's 'Kirrak Party' and Raj Tarun's 'Raju Gadu', both of which will be released early next year.
