After Chiranjeevi became a cabinet minister, he made sure that one of the big problem is taken care of. The excessive VAT (Value Added Tax) that is imposed on Telugu films is repealed now. Chief Minister Kiran Reddy made an announcement to that effect. The producers and office bearers of Telugu film chamber of commerce met Chiranjeevi at his residence and thanked for the initiative taken by him.
