TAMA (Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta) has celebrated Diwali 2014 celebrations in Atlanta. There was a ‘never-been-seen scene’ buzzing with crowds, high-voltage programs, busy stalls and what not. The celebrations are with pomp on November 1st, 2014 at Norcross High School, Norcross, GA with unprecedented success.

The event started with a welcome note by Cultural Secretary Anil Boddireddy followed by Ganapati Song. An eclectic mix of dances, songs and instrumental featuring classical, folk and film songs were lined up by the TAMA team for the audiences, and Richa Gangopadhyay, special attraction of famous Indian cinema actress, famous singers Rahul Sipligunj and Nitya Bayya, together were a great attraction to this event.

Later President Sandhya Yellapragada explained TAMA events and updates to the audience. The TAMA board chairman Sunil Savili explained long term projects of TAMA board and TAMA Clinic updates. Actress Richa Gangopadhyay felicitated chief guest Madhu Tata in this event.

Sri Karunakar Reddy Asireddy presented trophies to “ATA-TAMA” tennis winners.

Meet & Greet and Photo with Actress Richa Gangopadhyay, a free Mehandi booth was arranged by TAMA for interested women and “Diwali Special Pattucheera raffle” were special attractions in this event.

The event was sponsored by Swapna restaurant, Atlanta.

Delta Information Systems Inc., has sponsored TAMA permanent ID cards to TAMA life members in this event. Mr. Devanand Konduri, Mahesg Pawar and Harsha Yerneni & TAMA executive committee explained life membership benefits to all event attendees.

A delicious festival dinner was provided by Hot Breads, Atlanta.

Photography services were offered by Sridhar Vakiti, Praveen Boppana, Kiran Mudigonda, Kiran Nadella and Ravi Kiran Vaddamanu of Vakiti Creations and DJ was provided by Bytegraph Prashant.

Yupp TV live telecasted the event to entire USA.

TAMA team arranged “Hudhud cyclone relief fund”, and got good response from the audience.

The show was gracefully wound up with thank you note by Vice President Vinay Maddineni. Nagaraj Mantena, Rajesh Yallabandi, Devanand Konduri, Harsha Yerneni, Venkat Venkat, Ram Maddi, Nagesh Doddaka, Vijju chiluveru, Sahithi Doddaka, Latha chowdary, Kiran Gogineni, Shravani Rachakulla, Swapna Kadava, Katyayani’s team, Vara Prasad Yadana, Madhu Vangaveti, Rakesh, Arjun, Prasad Kalli, and helped the cultural team and hospitality.

TAMA Executive Committee and Vice President Vinay Maddineni extend special thanks to the all volunteers for their support and participation, without which this event would not have happened. 

అంబరాన్నంటిన స్వప్నా-తామా దీపావళి సంబరాలు...

అట్లాంటా మహా నగరం మెట్రో అట్లాంటా తెలుగు సంఘం (తామా) ఆద్వర్యంలో దీపావళి సంబరాలను ఘనంగా జరుపుకున్నది. 2014దీపావళి సంభరాలకు "స్వప్నా రెస్టారెంట్" అందించిన ఈ దివ్య దీపావళి వెలుగులు అట్లాంటా అంబరాని అందుకున్నాయి. రికార్డు స్థాయి కి చలి ఉన్నా. విశేషం గా తెలుగు వారు హాజరై ఈ దీపావళి దివ్యంగా జరుపుకున్నారు

తామా సాంస్మ్కూతిక కార్యదర్శి అనిల్ బొడ్డిరెడ్డి స్వాగతోపన్యాసంతో ప్రారంభమైన ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి "స్వప్నా రెస్టారెంట్" మధు తాత, ప్రముఖ తెలుగు చలన చిత్ర నటీ కుమారి రిచా గంగొపాద్యాయ ముఖ్య అతిధులుగా హాజరు అయ్యారు. దీపావళి విశిష్టత, తెలుగు సంస్క్రుతి, సాంప్రదాయాలను భావి తరాలకు అందించడానికి "తామా" చేస్తున్న కృషిని ఈ సందర్బంగా ముఖ్య అతిధులు ప్రశంసించారు.

తామా ప్రెసిడెంట్ సంద్య యల్లాప్రగడ తామా-2014 నందు జరిపిన కార్యక్రమములను వివరించారు. తామా కార్య వర్గం లో మహిళా కార్య దర్శిని పదవిని పొందపరిచినట్లు వివరించరు,తామా ఉచిత వైద్య శాల ద్వార 200 మంది లబ్ది పొందారని వివరించారు. ఈ సంవత్సరం స్పాన్సర్స్ కి , వాలంటీర్స్ కు దన్యవాదములు తెలిపారు. "తామా" బోర్డ్ చైర్మన్ సునిల్ సవలి తామాClinic మరియు long term projects లో స్కాలర్ షిప్స్ గురించి వివరాలు, మన బడి వివరాలను సభకు వివరించినారు.

టాలీవుడ్ ప్రముఖ గాయకులు రాహుల్ శిప్లిగంజ్ మరియు నిత్య భయ్య తమ మధుర గీతాలతో సభీకులను ఆలపించారు. నిత్యా పాటలకి రిచా గంగొపాద్యాయ నృత్యం చేసి సభికులను అనందపరిచారు.

అట్లాంటా చిన్నారులు మరియు ప్రాంతీయ కళాకారులు తమ వైవిధ్యమైన ప్రతిభా పాఠవాలతో ఈ సంభరాల్లో ప్రత్యేక ఆకర్షణగా నిలిచారు. శివ డాన్సు స్కూల్, హస్త నృత్యం ఇత్యాది నృత్యాలు సబికులను అలరించాయి .

వివిధ నృత్య, గాన పోటిలలో, విజేతలుగా నిలచిన చిన్నారులను తామా ఈ సందర్భంగా జ్ఞాపికలు, గిఫ్ట్ కార్డ్స్ ఇచ్చి సత్కరించినది. ఈ సందర్భం గా తామా సాంస్మ్కూతిక కార్యదర్శి అనిల్, తామా తెలుగు చిన్నరులని ప్రోత్సహించుటకు కంకణం కట్టుకున్నదని తెలిపారు. ఆటా సహకారంతో తామా జరిపిన టెన్నిస్ విజేతలకు శ్రీ. కరుణాకర్ అసిరెడ్డి జ్ఞాపికలుఅందచేసారు.

ముఖ్య అతిధి రిచా ఈ సందర్భం గా తామా వార్షిక పత్రిక "మన ఊరి మాట " ని విడుదల చేసి, శ్రీ మధు టాటా కి మొదటి పత్రిక అందచేసారు.

ఈ సంబరాల్లొ భాగమైన రిచా గంగొపాద్యాయతో Meet & Greet and Photo, "గోరింటాకు" మరియు "మహిళలకు దీపావళి చీర raffle" కార్యక్రమాలకు అనూహ్య స్పందన లభించిండి.

ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి వాకిటి క్రియొషన్స్ శ్రీధర్ వాకిటి, ఫ్రవీణ్ బొప్పన, కిరణ్ ముదిగొండ, కిరణ్ నాదెళ్ళ మరియు రవి కిరణ్ వడ్డమానులు ఫొటొగ్రఫిని మరియు విడియో అందించారు.

"Yupp TV" వారు ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని అమెరికా అంతటా live telecast ప్రసారం చేసారు.

మధురమైన తెలుగు సాంప్రదాయ వంటకాలను "Hot Breads" వారు సభా సభ్యులకు అందచేసారు.

తామా Vice President వినయ్ మద్దినేని ఈ సంభరాలకు విచ్చెసిన అట్లాంటా తెలుగువారలందరికి మరియు ముఖ్య అథిదులకు కృతఘ్నతలు తెలియచేసారు.
