TANA organized Mana Voori Kosam (For our Villages) 5k Run/Walk in Lower Perkiomen Valley park, Oaks, Philadelphia on Sunday September 11th 2016, which got tremendous registration response with over 200 participants and more than 400 attendees. The objective of the 5k Run/Walk was to create the awareness on TANA village adoption projects. Before starting the event, TANA Paid tributes to 9/11 victims. TANA Joint Secretary Ravi Potluri & TANA Foundation Trustee Harish Koya organized the event.

Ravi Potluri, TANA Joint Secretary started the event with a welcome note and introduced chief guest Member of Parliament C.M. Ramesh. Mr. CM Ramesh, in his speech praised the TANA’s service activities and congratulated Philadelphia Telugu community for joining together to support the noble cause. TANA Leadership attended the event are TANA Foundation Leadership Gogineni Srinivas, Jay Talluri, Harish Koya and TANA Regional Coordinator Laxmi Devineni.

All Participants extremely impressed with the way 5k Run/walk organized and applaud the efforts of the organizers. TANA Leadership appreciated the efforts of Satish Tummala, Venu Sangani who coordinated the event flawlessly. Prasad Kunarapu & Krishna Konagalla raised 5000$ towards TANA Happy homes building project. TANA is fortunate to organize this event and sincerely appreciating the support received from the Philadelphia Telugu community.

Satish Tummala, Venu Sangani coordinated the event with the support from Sambaiah Kotapati, Nagaraju Nalajula, Sai Jarugula, Krishna Konagalla, Prasad Kunarapu, Gopi Vagvala, Sunil Koganti, Rocky Kothapalli, Chaitanya Vadlapatla, Venkat Yeluri, Vamsi Nalajula, Vamsi Vasireddy, Srinivas Bharthavarapu, Sharma Saripalli, Krishna Nandamuri etc.

Haris Koya (Covant Solutions, Inc) grand sponsored the event and Local sponsors for the event are New Deccan Spice, Godavari South Indian Cuisine, SPRUCE InfoTech and Curie Learning Exton. Organizers thanked the New Deccan Spice Indian Restaurant for providing delicious breakfast and lunch.

TANA Foundation does about 1 to 1.5 million dollar worth of charities every year to help the poor and unfortunate people, orphans and students along with other village development projects and so far TANA spent around 40 Million Dollars (about Rs 300 crores) on various different projects Thanks to the donors and members who are supporting TANA since last 39 years.
