Dallas has it! From weather to the culture from people to the festivities. Leveraging the strengths Telangana Peoples Association of Dallas (TPAD) organized one of the biggest shows of Bathukamma and Dasara celebrations outside of Telangana. It was a day long festivity but surely a yearlong planning. The venue said it all – Allen Event Center in Allen, home to some of the largest and finest shows that happen. Under the leadership of Foundation committee chair, Janaki Ram Mandadi; Board of Trustee, Pavan Gangadhara; President, Chandra Reddy Police; Executive committee Coordinator, Sudhakar Kalasani; Board of Trustee Vice Chair, Madhavi Sunkireddy; Vice President, Ravikanth Mamidi; General Secretary, Madhavi Lokireddy; Treasurer, Anuradha Mekala a never before seen Bathukamma Dasara event was conducted.

The venue was indoor, nevertheless the weather lent credence to the overall celebrations and all roads led to the venue. The enthusiasm was visible as people came as early as 12.00 PM and stayed until midnight. The program started with a poorna kumbham along with a beautifully choreographed Ganesha song performed by young kids.

The cultural activities were planned diligently so the audience would enjoy throughout. From folklore to classical, trendy to frenzy the participants showed their prowess. The festive look, the mystic air and the preparations set the right tone for the huge program underway.

However, the best of the program was during the prime time show. Women were at their pinnacle best with colorfully donned Bathukammas and were singing and dancing to the Bathukamma tunes. The organizers ensured no stone unturned for the attendees to have a gala of time. The entire arena was flooded with bathukammas and beautifully dressed up ladies. Over 1500 women formed gigantic circles while the beautifully adorned Bathukammas were centrally placed. As the live beats and the traditional Bathukamma songs were being played, it was nothing short of a festival you wanted to be at. Nimajjanam arrangements were made at the venue and the rituals were conducted immediately after playing Bathukamma.

Priest performed Dasara pooja on the stage and tied the scared thread to the Jammi tree. The idols were carried in a beautifully decorated chariot along with a procession; young kids danced with kolatam sticks to the majestic sound of the Dasara song played in the background. The chanting of goddess Gowri & Lord Venkateshwara by the chariot carriers and all attendees gave goosebumps and made it felt nothing less than the brahmotsavalu conducted in Tirumala, India.

The cultural program line up included singer Anjana Sowmya, Shilpa Rao, Praveen and Actresses Mehreen Kaur, Director Kona Venkat and the ETV famous anchor Ravali, people of all ages danced to every song and took home a lifetime of memories.

Under the guidance and leadership of Ajay Reddy, Rao Kalvala, Raghuveer Bandaru and Board of Trustees, Indu Pancharpula, Buchi Reddy Goli, Sharada Singireddy along with Ram Annadi and Ashok Kondala twenty-two committee worked for this event to ensure all arrangements are taken care of. The Executive Committee members included Srini Vemula, Ratna Vuppala, Rupa Kannayyagari, Madhumathi Vysyaraju, Deepthi Suryadevara, Sharath Yerram, Roja Adepu, Linga Reddy Alva and TPAD Advisors- Venu Bhagyanagar, Vikram Jangam, Naresh Sunkireddy, Karan Poreddy, Jaya Telakalapalli, Arvind Muppidi, Ganga Devara, Sateesh Nagilla, Kalyani Tadimeti and collaboration team – Vamshi Krishna, Swapna Thummapala, Srinivas Tula, Vijay Reddy, Aparna Kolluri, Anusha Vanam, Sasi Reddy Karri, Manjula Todupunoori, Gayathri Giri, Sharath Punreddy, Srinivas Annamaneni, Sreedhar Kancharla, Nitin Chandra, Sravan Nidiganti, Madhavi Menta, Vandana Gouru, Srikanth Routhu, Thilak Vannampula, Raghu Vootukur, Bala Ganapuram, Deepika, Kiran Talluri, Abhishek Reddy, Shravan Nidiginti have supported the execution of the event.

డాలస్ తెలంగాణ ప్రజా సమితి (టీపాడ్) శనివారం అక్టోబర్ 5, 2019 ఆలెన్ ఈవెంట్ సెంటర్, ఆలెన్ , టెక్సాస్ లో నిర్వహించిన బతుకమ్మ మరియు దసరా సంబరాలు అంబరాన్ని తాకాయి. జానకి రామ్ మందాడి ఫౌండేషన్ కమిటీ చైర్ , పవన్ గంగాధర బోర్డు అఫ్ ట్రస్టీ చైర్ , చంద్రా రెడ్డి పోలీస్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ , సుధాకర్ కలసాని ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ కమిటీ కోఆర్డినేటర్, మాధవి సుంకిరెడ్డి బోర్డు ఆఫ్ ట్రస్టీ వైస్ చైర్, రవి కాంత్ మామిడి వైస్ ప్రెసిడెంట్, మాధవి లోకిరెడ్డి జనరల్ సెక్రటరి, అనురాధ మేకల ట్రెసరర్ నాయకత్వములో ఇప్పటి వరకు కనీ వినీ ఎరుగని రీతిలో నగర వాసులంతా బతుకమ్మ దసరా వేడుకలకు పోటెత్తారు. ఈ పోటెత్తిన జన సందోహాన్ని కట్టడి చేయలేక ఆలెన్ ఈవెంట్ సెక్యూరిటీ యాజమాన్యం సైతం మరి కొంత భారీ జన వాహినిని వెలుపలే నిలిపి వేయడం జరిగింది. లోపలికి ప్రవేశించ లేక పోయిన వారికి సంస్థ హృదయ పూర్వక ధన్య వాదాలు తెలియచేసింది. ఈ వేడుకలు అమెరికాలో అత్యద్భుతమైన సంబరాలకు కేంద్ర బిందువుగా 'న భూతొ న భవి ష్యత్' అన్నరీతిలో నిలిచాయి.

పూర్ణకుంభం, జ్యోతి ప్రజ్వలన స్వాగతనృత్యంతో కార్యక్రమం ప్రారంభమయిన తరువాత మధ్యాహ్నం వెయ్యిమందికి పైగా డాలస్ ఫోర్ట్ వర్త్ స్థానిక కళాకారులు లలిత సంగీత, శాస్త్రీయ, జానపద గీతాలు మరియు నృత్యాలలో పాల్గొన్నారు. సాయంత్రం డాలస్ మహిళలు అందంగా ముస్తాబయి, బతుకమ్మలు పేర్చుకొని వొచ్చి కోలాటాలతో , దీపాలతో, చప్పట్లతో బతుకమ్మ చుట్టూ ఆడి పాడి, గౌరీదేవికి దీపాల హారతులతో, నైవేద్యాలు సమర్పించారు. టీపాడ్ సంస్థ ప్రత్యేకంగా సత్తు పిండి నైవేద్యాలను చేయించి నిమజ్జన కార్యక్రమం తరువాత ప్రసాదాలను తరలి వొచ్చిన వారందరికి పంచారు. తదనంతరం ఆడవాళ్లందరికి చక్కటి గాజులు, పసుపు బొట్టు సాంప్రదాయ బద్దంగా భారీ మొత్తములో కానుకలుగా అందచేసింది.

బతుకమ్మ కార్యక్రమం తరువాత దసరా, మరియు జమ్మి పూజ కార్యక్రమాలను టీపాడ్ సంస్థ కార్యవర్గ బృందం , విరాళలు యిచ్చిన దాత లు , వొచ్చిన అతిథులు, సంబరాల్లో భాగమైన నగర వాసుల మధ్య అతివైభవంగా జరిపారు. పల్లకి ఉరేగింపులతో, భక్తి పారవస్య నృత్యాల నడుమ పండగ కోలాహలం, పరస్పరం జమ్మి ఆలింగనాల మధ్య ఎంతో వైభవోపేతంగా జరిగింది .బతుకమ్మ మరియు దసరా సంబరాల్లో ప్రముఖ మాటల రచయిత కోనా వెంకట్, సినీ అందాల తార మెహరీన్ కౌర్ ముఖ్య అతిథులగా పాల్గొన్నారు , టీపాడ్ సంస్ధ 2019వ సంవత్సరం చేసిన బతుకమ్మ స్వాగతము పాట, కార్యవర్గ సభ్యులందరితో తో చేసిన వీడియో అందరి సమక్షంలో విడుదల చేసి ప్రేక్షకుల ప్రశంసలను అందుకుంది. ప్రముఖ గాయని గాయకులు ప్రవీణ్ కొప్పోలు, అంజనా సౌమ్య, శిల్పా రావు , ఈటీవి వ్యాఖ్యాత రవళి సాయంత్రం పూట సంగీత విభవారి లో పాల్గొని ప్రేక్షకులని తమ మెలోడీ మరియు మస్తీ ఆట పాటలతో అందరిని ఆకట్టుకొని కార్యక్రమానికి మరింత శోభని పెంచారు.

రఘువీర్ బండారు గొప్ప చేయూత నిస్తూ, అండ దండగా నిలబడుతూ, సాటి లేని నేపథ్యములో, రథ సారథ్యములో ముందుకు వెళుతూ , రావు కలవల సంస్థ ప్రగతి పతానికి తోడ్పడుతూ.విలువైన సలహాలతో నడిపిస్తూ ,అజయ్ రెడ్డి దశ నిర్దేశకత్వం లో దూసుకు వెళుతూ . టీపాడ్ అక్టోబర్ 5, 2019 న ఘనంగా జరిగిన ఆరవ సంవత్సరం బతుకమ్మ , దసర సంబరాలు నగర వాసులని అత్యంత సంతోషము లో ముంచెత్తింది.

టీపాడ్ సంస్థ ప్రెసిడెంట్ చంద్రా రెడ్డి పోలీస్ మరియు కార్యవర్గ బృందం దసరా సంబరాల్లో పాల్గొన్న వారందరికి ,విరాళలు యిచ్చిన దాతలకు, మీడియా, ప్రసార మాధ్యమాలకు , ఈవెంట్ యాజ మాన్యానికి పేరు పేరున ప్రతీ ఒక్కరికి హృదయ పూర్వక కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలియచేసారు.
