'Viranchinai virachinchithini ee kavanam, vipanchi nai vinipinchithini ee geetham' - these words are appropriate for the eminent lyricist, who himself had penned down these lyrics. Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry, prominently known as 'Sirivennela', is the real Viranchi of tinsel world, who delivers amazing lyrics from his pen.

At a time, when the lyrics of Telugu film songs were stooping down beyond recognition with poor lyrics, Telugu film industry found a versatile poet in the form of Sri. Seetha Rama Sastry. His lyrics are so profound that one can never stop digging out the essence of those verses.

'banda raallanu chirayuvuluga jeevinchamani anathichina vadinedi adigedi' - when the character mocks at the God, in the song 'adibhikshuvu vadinedi koredi, boodidichevadinedi adigedi' , Sirivennela showered the mockery in a soothing style.

'aluperugani ataladu vasanthalu valadante viri vanamula parimalamula viluvemundi' - when the character expresses her desire for freedom from forceful materialistic life, in the song 'ghallu ghallu ghallu mantu merupalle trullu', he delivered the innocent feelings of a ambitious girl who strives for minimum worldly pleasures.

'bhadram becareful brother, barthaga maraku bachelor, shadi mate voddu guru, solo brathuke so better' - a simple song with lot of humour.

'chakravarthiki veedhi bichagatheki bandhuvavuthanani andi money' another simple song with deep meaning.

'kunuku raka butta bomma digulugundani, vanamule lechi vachi nidra buchani' - a beautiful lullaby for the heroine by the hero, trying to drive away her fear and worry, in the song 'jamu rathiri jabilamma' .

'taralirada tane vasantham, tana dariki rani vanala kosam', 'eto vellipoindi manasu ila vontaraindi vayasu' , 'evaraina epudaina sariga gamaninchara', 'chali chera asaleppudu vadilindo', 'ne tolisariga kalagannadi ninne kada', if I go on, this list will be too lengthy. Each and every song of his has its own connotation.

He maintains the rhyme, rhythm and essence in all his lyrics that makes him a distinguished lyricist of the era. He uses an amalgamation of both complex and simple Telugu in his lyrics, that makes them more popular among telugu people. I think it is needless to mention that Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry is one of the rare lyricists in the present generation who could be on par with yester years great lyricists of our telugu film industry. Endaro mahanubhavulu, andariki vandanamulu.
