GHS - SPORTY ENTERTAINMENT FOR TOLLYWOOD AUDIENCE - WITH A DIFFERENCE

After the superhit entertainer 'Ashat Chemma', award winning director ....Krishna has come up with another wholesome entertainer - Golconda High School - which has opened to great reviews in Tollywood.

The story revolves around a group of Indian teenagers from different backgrounds and with the growing pains of their age. Their confusion with their circumstances is channelled by a cricket coach, who himself has his own demons to fight. The journey of these boys takes them to fight against the greed of school trustees and develop their own personal and collective strength to go for their dreams.

The movie achieves to deliver a message of importance of sports in a country where this is often overlooked. It does it with humour and entertainment. The boys have done a fantastic job with heart warming performance. Sumanth has probably done his best in his career and Swathi, who stole many hearts in Ashta Chemma and "Ad.....' continues to add bubbly charm. Subbaraju and Shafi are excellent and have received critical acclaim for their work.

The film has a good pace and the drama around cricket builds up lively anticipation.The title song 'Jaago Re' has become instantly popular and Kalyani Malik and Srivennela have provided great music and lyrics.

GHS is a breath of fresh air in Tollywood - a movie worth watching alone, with friends or family. Specially recommended for sports lovers or families who want to see a good entertaining movie with children.
