Hi,
I am here to share my experience of Karunya's electrifying show last night. We drove all the way from Chicago to Indianapolis, which is just 2-hour drive to attend the 3 hours show of Karunya.

Karunya started the concert with Abhishek's "right here right now" song saying that many called him Abhishek. Then he said his favorite singer is Ghantasala gaaru and sang "siva sankari". To be frank he was next to none in singing this song but just for Ghantasala gaaru. Other than this song, in all other songs either he is as good as the original singer or at times better than them.

First and Second parts of the show went on smooth with some Hindi melodies, some Telugu oldies and few dance numbers. After the dinner the third part started off with 2 guys dancing. They started with "Kodithey Kottali raa" which got huge response, followed by "Ma Ma Mass" and then remix bit of "Raa Raa Bangaram" when the response reached its pinnacle because Karunya joined them and danced for the song. As soon as it was done he said pokiri would come next. Then after a first song, audience shouted for "jagadame" but he sang "deva deva devuda" because he did not have "jagadame" track. He was as good as original. Then again we shouted for Shankar Dada MBBS. He just smiled and said he will be going to meet Shankar dada(chiranjeevi) again. Then followed all dance numbers like Gangster song, Woh lamhe, One Love. When he said he would sing a Rahman's song, people went crazy shouting "ramta Jogi" which he sang brilliantly in Indian Idol. So he had to sing that song along with "hamma hamma" which he wanted to sing. Then by the end of the show only song people were screaming for was "kawa kawa" and he even sang that for us with the same energy and same perfection just like the first song of the show.

Also there was small felicitation in the middle of the show where some elders called him "Ghana Kala Bhushana" and people clapped for it. But then when Karunya was asked to speak (in his exact words) "I am not being modest, but I don't deserve this title, I just started and I am still a kid. I have a lot to achieve. I am thankful for the love you are showing but I am too small for that title." What followed was a huge applause for a 20-year-old kid from all the elders in the show.

I, on behalf of all Indy audience, would like to thank the organizers and of course Karunya for the brilliant show. This is one show where you will leave the venue only when you are completely satisfied and Karunya makes sure of that. God bless Karunya and all the best for this future.
