How is the film?
It is a typical chocolate box love story. This film seems to have some roots in films like Roman Holiday and Coming to America. The movie seems to have lost its tempo in the latter part of the film when the king and queen accept her well before the films ends. However, the director succeeds in putting a twist in the end to sustain interest.
Things I liked in the film?
The romance scene in college library is very moving.
Tailpiece:
Paparazzi seems to be the playing the spoilsport in all flicks that have royal main leads. It is the paparazzi that make the life of Ed miserable in this film too. |
