Appachan, a Malayalam film producer, who produced 32 films in Malayalam and Tamil is entering Telugu film industry with a film titled 'Maa Bapu Bommaki Pellanta' in the direction of Ravi Raja Pinisetty. Appachan produced the originals of Telugu remakes like Peddarikam, Hitler, Chandra Lekha, Kadalikku mariyade, Snehamante Idera etc. he made 11 continuous films in the direction of Fazal. This film 'Maa Bapu Bommaki Pellanta' is a remake of successful Malayalam film 'Nandanam'.

The talkie part of the film is completed and canning of 1 and half songs are also over in a span of 93 working days. Next schedule of the film would start from 5th March onwards and the songs would be shot at Vizag, Rajolu and Burra caves. The main asset of the film is Telugu nativity. There would be six songs in this film. Two of them are duets and four are situational songs. This film is a heroine-oriented film. Gayatri Raghuram is cast as heroine in this film. The hero Ajay Raghavendra is making his debut as hero in this film. He acted as the 'kid Venkatesh' in Chanti and Kondapally Raja.
