About film:
Sri
Creations has confirmed the title of 'Ottesi Cheputunna' for their
maiden venture starring Srikanth, Sivaji and Sravanthi. The unit
held a pressmeet on 9th March to tell the details of the film's
progress.
Talking
about the title the director E Sathi Babu (who earlier directed
comedy hit films like Tirumala Tirupati Venkatesa and O Chinnadana)
mentioned that 'Ottu' (promise) has got lot of sacredness and
serenity attached to it. Why hero says 'Ottesi Cheputunna' to
heroine forms the crux of the film. The unit has recently shot
4 songs in New Zealand in some unexplored landscapes. The talkie
part of the film is completed except for the patchwork, which
is expected to take place on 11th and 12th of March 2003. Vidya
Sagar - the Telugu music director who proved his credentials in
other film industries like Tamil and Malayalam - is yet to prove
himself in Telugu. Director Sathibabu wished that 'Ottesi Chebutunna'
music would get a break for Vidya Sagar. This film sports all
the comedians of Telugu film industry spearheaded by Brahmanandam
and Sunil. Audio of this film is expected in the 3rd week of March
and the movie is expected to release in the 2nd week of April.
Speaking
on this occasion comedy artist Brahmanandam told that the producer
Anil and director Sathibabu are his personal friends. Being the
manager of Srikanth - the producer Anil had enough hands on experience
in the film production activities. He also had praises for the
hero Srikanth and heroine Sravanthi.
Sunil
- who appeared himself without mustache - told that he is playing
a full length character of 'Nela Baludu' as a Srikanth friend.
In addition to full-length comedy, this film also sports some
good heart touching sentimental scenes. He said that Sivaji played
a very good character in this film. He has praises for heroine
Sravanthi and he describer her as 'homely-looking' heroine.
Sravanthi,
the final year engineering student from BITS Pilani - a prestegious
educational institute in India, is acting as heroine in this film.
