The month of June has created despair in Telugu film industry by taking away four of the valuable directors from us. On, 8th of this month Sri Pratyagatma was expired. He entered the industry as a cinema journalist. Later on he started giving stories for the films. He got introduced as a director with 'Bharya Bhartalu' in which ANR acted as the hero. He got national recognition for Telugu cinema by delivering classics like 'Bharya Bhartalu', 'Manushulu - Mamathalu', 'Aadarsha Kutumbam' and 'Kula Gotraalu'. He did also introduce the rebel star Krishnam Raju in Telugu field by producing and directing the film 'Chilaka Gorinka'.

On 10th of June, the young talented director Tirupati Swamy met with an accident near Chennai and expired. He did also start his career as journalist. D Suresh Babu spotted him. Suresh production made an award winning film 'Ganesh' with Tirupati Swamy as the director. He used all his real time life experiences in the film, as Venky's character in Ganesh too is that of journalist. Later on he directed another film with Nag 'Azad', which did also have a message in it. He used the lady journalist character (played by Soundarya) to make a village lad become a country legend Azad. He completed his latest venture 'Salute' with Vijay kanth and this film is due for release. He is also supposed to do three films in Telugu.

On the same day (10th of June), a senior director Lakshmi Deepak was expired. He made his debut with Superstar Krishna's 'Pachani Samsaram'. He did also give a silver jubilee hit 'Pandanti Kapuram' with Krishna. He made 'Gandhi Puttina Desam' with Krishnam Raju and 'Karthika Deepam' with Sobhan Babu.

On 19th of this month, Hasya Brahma Jandhyala expired by leaving all the Telugu movie lovers in despair. He is equally good for all the films in penning dialogues. He gave the dialogues to a commercial film 'Adavi Ramudu' the way he has given for classical 'Sankara Bharanam'. In a particular year, he penned dialogues for 72 films, which is an unbeatable record in the films. He did write dialogues for more than 400 films and directed around 64 films.

With in 48 hours after Jandhyala left us, music maestro KV Maha Devan expired on 21st June. He won the national award twice with his film. He did also score for commercial films like 'Adavi Ramudu' with the panache he did for a classic film 'Sankara Bharanam'. He gave musical hits to prestigious banners like Babu Movies, Jagapathi, Yuva Chitra and Bhargav Arts.
