Actor Srihari acts in a full-length comedy for the first time. For EVV, comedy is routine. Net Result: Srihari proves better in his department, while EVV fails to harness the humor elements through his characters. Basic problem lies in the story (Bhupati Pandyan). The novel aspect is the presence of a pet dog named 'Shakeela' that talks, commenting on everything. While the dubbing voice given to the dog reels out a series of sentences, the dog simply hangs its tongue out.

The story is about an incompatible couple - GK (Prakash Raj), a businessman, and his wife Susheela (Abhirami), a doctor. GK is against women taking up a career. After the birth of a child, he insists that hiswife should stay at home. When she refuses to d so, he starts suspecting that she must be having an affair. Therefore, he appoints a self-styled detective Subba Rao (Srihari), to find about her 'lover'. Subba Rao runs a detective agency along with his childhood friend (LB Sreeram), who calls himself 'Pawan Kalyan'. The film unnecessarily makes references to Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan in an annoyingly eulogizing tone.

It is a loud comedy and banks heavily on Marudhuri Raja's dialogue. Though Raja puts in his best effort, the situations creating in the screenplay do not make the humor drama gripping. Prakash Raj and Abhirami dominate the show with Srihari playing the second fiddle to them. Some sequences at the end, featuring Srihari and LB Sriram are entertaining. Music score by Vandemataram is average.
