The celebrations of 2nd day night of Telugu cinema vajrostavalu were started with a video clip ‘Endaro Mahanubhavulu – andariki vandanalu’. Suhasini anchored todays proceedings. Jana Reddy, Dasari, Daggubati Purandheswari, Kajol (Hindi actress) and Justice Ramanujan were invited as guests.

Bala Krishna as Suyodhana
Bala Krishna thrilled everybody with his portrayal of Suyodhana character in his impeccable style. AVS played Sakuni. Nagababu donned the Ghatotagaza role.

Krishna felicitation
Dasari felicitated superstar Krishna by saying, “Krishna is a sensational hero. He used to work for 3 films a day in his prime time. He is the one who brought us technological revolutions like cinema scope and 70mm. He acted in more than 350 films.”

Responding to felicitation Krishna said, “I got introduced to Telugu film industry with Adurthi’s Thene Manasulu. Then I did Cowboy films, scope films and 70mm films. I would like to thank Telugu film industry for giving me the opportunity to work in more than 350 films.”

K Raghavendra Rao speaks
After getting felicitated K Raghavendra Rao said, “I do not have the habit of speaking in function. But I am speaking now because I wanted my varasulu to listen to it when Telugu film industry completes 100 years.”

Felicitations galore
The personality who were felicitated today include Krishna, Bapu, K Raghavendra Rao, SP Balasubramanyam, Murari, TL Kanth Rao, Krishnam Raju, KB Thilak, Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, Vijaya Nirmala, Ranganath Das, Padmanabham, Rajendra Prasad, Bhaskara Raju, K Raghava, G Adisesha Giri Rao, Sirivennela, Pundarikakshayya, Potharaju (sr makeup man), Victory Madhusudhana Rao, Paruchuri brothers, Srinu (choreography), Sarada, Eknath (spl effects), Thota Tharani, Narayana (camera operator), Peetambaram (makeup man), Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.

Sivamani takes audiences into trance
World renowned drummer Sivamani enthralled the audience with his superb performance. All the audience started clapping to synchronize to the beat of Shivamani drums by the time program ended. Shivamani’s music show was of truly world class.

Suhasini wins the hearts
Suhasini (of Chantigadu fame) did splendid performance for the song ‘o devada’. She used her expressive eyes to maximum extend to recreate the feelings generated the great Savitri. Uttej did ANR role in this film.

Purandheswari eloquence
Purandheswari Daggubati (daughter of NTR) proved her eloquence and good command over speech when Suma asked about her feelings towards Telugu cinema vajrostavam. She won the accolades of everybody by saying Telugu cinema is her puttinillu. Then she categorized legendry actors in uncles, aunts and brothers category and concluded that she belongs to the family of Telugu cinema.

Ali scores again
Three comedians performed to three comedy songs. These songs are ‘Vinara suramma koduko’ (Ali & Jayalalitha), Muthyalu Vastava (Venu Madhav & Rama Prabha) and Sundari Neevanti (Brahmanandam & Suhasini).

Sunil create ruckus
Sunil had audience in splits with his serious performance as mock news reader which generated lot of comedy. The audiences could not control their laughter during his show. AVS, Srinivasa Reddy, Gundu Hanmantha Rao, Kondavalasa and Jaya Lalitha performed scripts

Other performances
Russian Ballet dancers gave one performance. Australian based team performed a laser show. Siva Reddy gave mimicry and dance show.

Suma asked some interesting questions to a few celebrities.

Suma to Ramya Krishna: Who is the best hero you ever worked with?
As Ramya struggling to give an answer, Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna urged her to tell their names. Chiranjeevi gave a solution by saying ‘Rajnikant in Padayappa’. But Ramya Krishna gave a diplomatic answer that she likes all heroes.

Suma to Nagarjuna: If you have to act in remake of ANR films. Which one do you choose?
