Narasimhudu is the titled confirmed for NTR's latest film in the direction of B Gopal. The title was announced in a press meet held on the morning of 20th April 2005.

Paruchuri Gopala Krishna said that the story of the film is about Narasimhudu protecting the interests of his village. This is the 298th film of Paruchuri brothers. Shooting of the film is complete except for the patch work.

B Gopal said that Narasimhudu has got all ingredients and emotions one can expect from his films. This film has got city and Araku backdrop. There are six songs in this film. Two songs were canned in Swiss. One train song was picturized on NTR and Arti Agarwal in the boarder of Tamilnadu and Kerala. Three songs were shot in sets.

Chandra Babu Naidu to release audio
Producer Chengala Venkat Rao said that it was Paruchuri Gopala Krishna who titled the film Samarasimha Reddy. He insisted on putting that title though it could create controversies. Likewise, it is Paruchuri Gopala Krishna who titled 'Narasimhudu'. The Narasimha in title would also have sentiment factor (Narasimha, Narasimha Naidu and Lakshmi Narasimha). Audio of Narasimhudu would be released on 23rd of this month in function arranged in Holiday Inn Hotel. Chandra Babu Naidu would release the audio. This film would be released in the second week of May 2005.
