The 1K Run hosted by Gemini TV, to kick start the exciting & colourful Kirrakk Kabaddi Season-2 @ Warangal, was flagged off by Ms Konda Surekha,MLA, Warangal East,on Friday morning atMulugu Junction Road, Warangal. Mr Sudheer Babu, Police Commissioner, Warangal; Mr Chaithanya Kumar, ACP, Warangal, and the citizens of Warangal were joined in the run by galaxy of glamorous small screen stars including Ms Jyothi &Ms Anusha Reddy of the home team Orugallu Warriors;Ms Kavitha &Ms Swetha of Godavari Thunders; Ms Bobby Lahari&Ms Sireesha of Amaravathi Angels and Ms Bhavana&Ms Lahari of Nellore Nerajanalu, amongst others.
The run was followed later in the day by 84 gorgeous female TV stars from Telugu Television industry, for the first time under one roof, as part of 7 teams clashed for the Title “KIRRAKK KABADDI", a premier initiative of Gemini Television, at the Municipal Corporation Indoor Stadium, Warangal. The event galvanised the sport of Kabaddi and transformed in to an aspirational game for the actress and fans alike.
KIRRAKK KABADDI, was an astounding success in its first season and is all set to make its much-awaited return for the second season. It will be ready to hit the Television this season as a biweekly, on every Saturday & Sunday, from 9:30 pm to 10.30 pm.
The seven teams that battled in the 'Kirrakk Kabaddi' were, Orugallu Warriors; Nizam Poris;Godavari Thunders; Amaravathi Angels; Kurnool Queens; Chittoor Challengers and Nellore Nerajaanalu. Each team will have a Mentor and Captain, along with a male actor to cheer their teams.
