Kalasha Foundation, an initiative of the Mentor Group, today honored with 15 prestigious awards recognizes the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Honorable Minister Shri Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Minister for Human Resources, Andhra Pradesh had inaugurated the event today at VUDA Children Arena in Visakhapatnam.
Over 15 women have been honored with this prestigious award and many of the winners today are considered outstanding achievers in their sector.
On the grand occasion of International Women’s day, Kalasha Foundation’s Marvelous Mahila awards 2017 for women in 14 different categories and a lifetime achievement award are being presented.

Youngest social worker award (Special Jury Award) at 3 years age to Baby. Kalasha Medapureddi. On her behalf her paternal grandfather Mr. Sanyasi Rao Naidu and grandmother Govardhini Naidu who are executive and managing directors of mentor group of companies will receive the award from all award winners and the chief guests.
Speaking at the launch of the awards, Shri. Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Minister for Human Resources Development of Andhra Pradesh. I deem it an honour to have been invited to awards function. Andhra Pradesh is a good place for women entrepreneurs but there is scope to do better and these events which is all about celebrating these incredible women and showing them how much we love, respect and value them.
I am also glad that, it has to its credit, many activities of Kalasha Foundation that have impacted the lives of many women.

“This is not just another award in the market,” said Ms. Meena of Kalasha Foundation. “We wanted to create a community where women could come together to support one another by organising symposiums and networking sessions for new business owners.
“Today’s women entrepreneurs are inspiring business leaders and influencers and Kalasha Foundation is proud to play a role in recognizing and celebrating their leadership. Women play multiple roles, be it at work, in the community or at home. It is important for us to toast to the best of India’s growing community of women entrepreneurs who are driving change in both the economy and the community,” she added.
The recipients in Andhra Pradesh were selected from among 150 shortlisted candidates, ranging from talented young entrepreneurs to experienced industrialists.
