Actress Priyanka Raman Handloom IKAT Mela Kick Starts
'Handloom IKAT Mela 2018' a 5- day, Hand woven Eco friendly Handloom Products exhibition Kick starts at Kalinga Cultural Center, Banjarahills. Rakshashi Fame Actress Priyanka Raman formally Inaugurated the mela, Which is organized by pochampally handloom park.
On the occasion Priyanka said that, “It’s glad to see various apparel, particularly Handloom Fabrics, Ikat siko and cotton sarees, to be showcased for the Fashion Connoisseurs in the city.
“Handlooms are part of an age old Indian tradition element of Indian culture and rich artistry. By promoting handlooms, we support the artisans and local community who have been passing on their skills for generations. Promoting creativity and originality, each design is a result of individual artisan’s creativity which is influenced by the local traditions and cultures “said Mr. Devender- Chairman and Lava Kumar- Director and CEO- Mr. Raja sekhar, Pochampally Handloom Park.
The Expo will be on till 22nd April 2018, 10:00 am to 9pm.
