Pegasystems, Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA), the software company empowering customer engagement at the world’s leading enterprises, recently held a fun and educational movie screening to engage school children learning the English language under its program ‘Pega Teach For Change’ (PTFC). The movie ‘Inside Out’ was viewed by all students of Grade 9 at approximately 50 PTFC affiliated government schools across Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Bangalore. Regina Cassandra, a renowned Tollywood actress, joined the kids in GHS Banjara Hills today, to make the experience an even more exciting affair for students.

Through activities such as celebrity teaching and movie screenings, the program makes learning a fun and exciting experience by breaking the monotony of regular classes and giving the students a different mode of learning. After viewing the English movie, students also wrote an English review of the film to help them further refine their language skills. Regina pledged her support towards PTFC for the cause of enhancing the quality of education for government school students.

The Pega Teach for Change initiative is focused on providing an enriched learning experience for government school students. This joint program between Pega and Teach for Change, a non-governmental organization (NGO) that specializes in training primary and high school students in leadership skills and English, offers government school students an opportunity for holistic training and development with added focus on computer literacy. The program focuses on empowering government school students between grades 6 and 10 across five cities – Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Vizag, Bangalore, and Chennai.
