Telangana American Telugu Association (T.A.T.A.) is all about helping communities, spreading culture, guiding our next generation and organizing charity activities. In an ongoing effort, T.A.T.A New York team organized “SRI KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATIONS” in Smithtown, NY. On Sri Krishna Janmashtami the New York team brought together the community and organized a mega celebration attended by around 200 people of all ages. Parents beautifully dressed their little kids in Chinni Krishna and Gopika costumes along with Butter Pot and Flute decorations. The event started with Fashion walk by Little Krishna’s and Gopika’s who stole the show with their costumes and cuteness. Many traditional Indian games of 80’s were organized for adults and kids, which brought back childhood memories for adults. The games included Kabaddi, 7 Stones, Chain tag, Number game and others which were thoroughly enjoyed by all participants.

The Highlight of the event UTLU which were craftily prepared was the showstopper of our Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations in New York. The effort to introduce children to Janmashtami was satisfactory with the way they participated in Utlu ceremony. And adults were not far behind who equally availed the opportunity to bring back their childhood memories. The Sri Krishna Janmashtami event was greatly appreciated and acknowledged by various communities and complimented T.A.T.A New York team in organizing a wonderful event.

Today’s entire event was supported and encouraged by T.A.T.A Advisory Council Chair Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy garu and T.A.T.A President Vikram Jangam. And executed by Treasurer Ranjeeth Kyatham, Board of Directors Sharath Vemuganti, Sahodar Peddireddi and Usha Mannem. T.A.T.A National Chairs Pavan Ravva, Srinivas Guduru, Madhavi Soleti. Co-Chairs Rama Vanama, Raghuram Pannala. Regional Vice President Mallik Reddy. Regional Coordinators Prahalad, Satya Gaggenapally, Yogi Vanama and Hemanth Kancharla

T.A.T.A New York Team conveyed special thanks to all the parents and children who made this event a grand success and thanked the volunteers Ashok Chintakunta(President TLCA), Nagasree Nalla, Swetha Tadepalli, Ragini Ravva, Anitha Gaggenapally, Lakshmi Prahalad, Padma Akkinapalli, Sunil Gaddam, Mahesh Kumar, Praveen Duggi, Chandra Shaker Kotta, Vani Singirikonda, Mounika Barma, Apeksha Kulkarni and many others for their effort in making this a memorable event. Looking at the huge response, T.A.T.A New York team thanked the community and promised to organize many such events in future.
