TPAD, Telangana People’s Association of Dallas hosted its annual blood drive event in Frisco, Texas, its 6th in the past 5 years. It is customary for TPAD to launch their activities for the year, with this charitable activity.

During the drive, nearly 50 people from all origins donated blood and a total of 32 units or 8,000 ml was collected. Carter blood mentioned each pint would save 3 lives and a total of 96 lives will be saved with the amount of blood collected.

Carter mentioned that the 32 units of blood collected, would fulfill blood demand for high blood demanding medical procedures like 7 heart surgeries or 12 blood transfusions. The event was led by Chandra Reddy Police, TPAD President for 2019 and Madhumathi Vysyaraju, Blood Drive Coordinator and TPAD Foundation team lead by Janakiram Mandadi, Rajvardhan Gondhi, Ajay Reddy, Rao Kalvala, Mahendar Kamireddy, Raghuveer Bandaru, Upender Telugu, Ram Annadi and Ashok Kondala Board of Trustees, Pavan Kumar Gangadhara, Madhavi Sunkireddy, Sudhakar Kalasani, Indu Pancharpula, ,Bucchi Reddy Goli, Sharada Singireddy and Executive Committee, Ravikanth Reddy Mamidi (Vice president), Madhavi Lokireddy (Gen-Secretary) , Lakshmi Poreddy ( Joint Secretary), Anuradha Mekala ( Treasurer), Shankar Parimal (Joint- Treasurer), Srini Vemula, Ratna Vuppala, Rupa Kannayyagari, Deepthi Suryadevara, Sharath Yerram,Roja Adepu, Linga Reddy Alva and TPAD Advisors- Venu Bhagyanagar, Vikram Jangam, Naresh Sunkireddy, Karana PoReddy, Jaya Telakalapalli, Surendar Chinthala, Arvind Muppidi, Ganga Devara, Sateesh Nagilla, Santosh Kore, Kalyani Taadimeti and collaboration team – Vamshi Krishna,Swapna Thummapala, Srinivas Tula,Vijay Reddy, Aparna Kolluri, Anusha Vanam, Sasi Reddy Karri, Manjula Todupunoori, Madhavi Omkar, Gayathri Giri, Jayasree Murukutla, Ravindra Dhulipalla, Srinivas Kootikanti, Sharath Punreddy, Sreedhar Kancharla, Srinivas Annamaneni,Sravan Nidiganti, Nithin Chandra, Aparna Singireddy, Kameshwari Divakarla, Kavitha Brahmadevara, Nithin Korvi, Sugathri Guduru, Madhavi Menta, Vandana Gouru, Dhanalakshmi Ravula, Lavanya Yarakala, Srikanth Routhu, Thilak Vannampula, have supported the execution of the event.

IT Spin provided their office and parking space for the blood donation camp. To conduct a blood drive, it is mandatory for a clean and safe facility for the donors to rest, if needed. Without a clean facility, agencies wont conduct a blood donation camp. IT Spin has been providing its facility for the past 5 years and it has made it easy for TPAD to conduct blood donation, from logistics point of view.

The event not only helped pool up volunteers to donate blood, but also, provided opportunity at leadership and a taste of working for a charitable cause to several students at local school districts in Frisco, Allen and Plano. The students not only took part in coordination activities but, also shared their views and interests in the upcoming community events to be organized by TPAD.

Blood donors expressed deep regards to TPAD for organizing the drive, showing exceptional service and leaving a successful blood donation experience for them.

The donors were well received and taken care by Carter’s technicians and TPADs volunteers.

TPAD leadership and volunteers said, it is duty of every citizen of America to serve their land and they said the blood drive gave them a personal satisfaction of performing that duty.

TPAD team expressed their happiness for a successful completion of their first event of the year and thank IT Spin management Uma Bandaru for providing the facility and Carter Blood Care for their exceptional service.

డాలస్ తెలంగాణ ప్రజాసమితి (టీపాడ్) నిర్వహణలో విజయవంతంగా ముగిసిన “రక్తదాన శిబిరం”

డాలస్ తెలంగాణ ప్రజాసమితి (టీపాడ్) ఆధ్వర్యములో గత 6 సంవత్సరాలుగా ర్వహించబడుతున్న రక్తదాన శిబిరం గడచిన శనివారము మార్చ్ ఐ .టి .స్పిన్ ఆఫీస్ ప్రాంగణము,ప్లేనో డాలస్ నగరములో జరిగినది. ఈ శిబిరంలో ‘కార్టర్ బ్లడ్ కేర్ సంస్థ’ సహాయంతో 50 మంది రక్త దాతల నుండి, 32 యూనిట్లు అనగా 8000ml రక్తం సేకరించబడినది . ప్రతి యూనిట్ రక్తం ముగ్గురు వ్యక్తులను ప్రాణాపాయం నుండి కాపాడవచ్చు అనగా ఈ శిబిరంలో సేకరించిన రక్తము సుమారు 96 మంది ప్రాణము కాపాడగలము. ‘కార్టర్ బ్లడ్ కేర్ సంస్థ’ లెక్క ప్రకారం ఈ శిబిరంలో కరించిన రక్తము వలన 7 గుండెకు సంబంధించిన శస్త్ర చికిత్సలు , 12 సార్లు రక్త మార్పిడి జరుగగలవు.

టీపాడ్ కార్యవర్గ బృందం మరియు కార్టర్ బ్లడ్ కేర్ సంస్థ టెక్నిషియన్స్ శిబిరాన్ని సందర్శించిన ప్రతి ఒక్కరినీ చక్కగా ఆదరించి ఆహ్వానించారు. ఇంత చక్కటి సామాజిక స్పృహ కలిగిన కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించినందుకు టీపాడ్ సంస్థకి రక్త దాతలు సంతోషముతో కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు.

డాలస్ నగరములో చదివే విద్యార్థులు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో హజరయ్యి ఈ సేవా కార్యక్రమములో పాల్గొని వారి వంతు సహాయ సహకారాలను అందించారు. టీపాడ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ చంద్రా రెడ్డి పోలీస్ సంస్థ చేసే కమ్యూనిటీ సేవ కార్య క్రమాల గురించి మాట్లాడుతూ ఏప్రిల్ 6, 2019 న జరుగుబోయే 'ఫుడ్ డ్రైవ్' విషయాలను వొచ్చిన వారందరికి వివరించారు. తదనంతరం పత్రిక మరియు ప్రసార మాధ్యమాలకు, రక్తం ఇవ్వడానికి వచ్చిన రక్త దాతలకు మరియు రక్త దాన శిబిరం నిర్వహించటానికి కావాల్సిన ప్రాంగణ వసతులు కల్పించిన ఐ.టి.స్పిన్ ఆఫీస్ యాజమాన్యం ఉమ గడ్డం గారికి కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలియచేసారు.
