Telugu Association of Memphis (TAM) proudly presented great program for all the telugu community in and around memphis by arranging 'Swara Brahma' Manisharma, the tollywood's # 1 music director, live-in show for the first time ever in Memphis, TN. He and his troupe gave an scintillating performance at Memphis on July15th, which was a very huge success. His troupe included Sri Mani Sharma , "Indian Idol" finalist Karunya, Sri Mallikarjun, Sri Vinodh Babu, Smt. Sunitha and Smt Vijayalakshmi, Sri Harikishen and orchestra.
The performance was exhilarating and filled with lots of energy. He once again proved why he is known as 'Swara Brahma'. Crowd was over whelmed with his energy and he reciprocated that with songs that were perfect blend of Music. His commitment and perfection in organising the show is laudable. Even though the show started off with a little delay for things that are not planned for, his kind gesture to acknowledge the crowd waiting out side the auditorium to have patience just to witness a wonderful evening is worth mentioning. The show started off with 'Mimicry' Hari kishan introducing the artits to the audience.
Mallikarjun started off the show by singing "Rama Rama raghurama" from Sri Anjaneyam. He sang it with utter perfection and his mellifulous voice was flawless. The Spirit continued for the rest of evening as Karunya took it to the heights by singing one of the very super hit songs 'Yamahanagari..' from megastar's Chiranjeevi's block buster, 'Choodalani Undi'. The chorus singers gave a wonderful support from the back. The crowd has already begun dancing all over the place and the enthusiasm was at it peak stage when the singers sang the songs from POKIRI,NARASIMHANAIDU,INDRA and others. It was a tremendous effort from all the singers and the troup. Not to forget the Mimicry show by Sri Hari Kishan. His mimicry included imitating political leaders, movie satire and "Jurassic Park" scene.
By the time, the entire crowd was already exhuberant, Sunita took everybody to a world of fusion. She sang 'Thaye Yashodha' from Ragam(Morning Raaga) that is a blend of carnatic and western music. This fusion of music, itself says alot about Manisharma. He continued to encourage singers on the stage to perform at their best for every song. It was perfect compilation of songs that he had deliverd along with the troup. Manisharma's magic came to a conclusion with 'Nenu Saitam' from Tagore followed by 'Janaganamana'. Three Cheers to Mani sharma and The Troup.
In her vote of thanks, Sri Padma Peravalli (TAM) thanked all the major sponsors such as Memphis Cardiology, Dr Deepika Pulasani, HP Consulting group, International Consulting Partners, Mayuri restaurant and several supporters in Telugu community.
