hi friends,
"INDRA"
had been screened at Singapore with HUGE crowd on 14th Sep (Preview
Show Covering 400 people) & 15th Sep (Normal 2 shows 3:00pm
& 6:00pm with 1200 (approx.) people per show..). In the Telugu
Film History in Singapore, this is the first film to be screened
in DTS Cinema Theatre (DTS Print). And it seems, this is the first
event where so many Telugu people have assembled at one place. Inspite
of Postponing the film for more than a month (Actual date given
was on 9th Aug, but screened on 15th Sep due to demand of Print
in AP), the crowd was amazing and many of them even went back without
tickets.
Preview show (on 14th) was quite calm with not much of shouting
& whistles...coz Preview show was confirmed and announced late
(just 1 day before screening). And audience that were turned up
are mostly families, and few guys. This show was not quite impressive,
because this show was not with DTS effects and the crowd is also
silent spectators.
The
Actual shows (15th 3:00pm & 6:00pm) are really wonderful with
the DTS effects in a Bigger Theatre, Huge crowds & FANS (around
1200 people per show). 3'o clock show was started at 3:15pm and
6'o clock show at 6:30pm because it took so much time for the crowd
to enter into theatre with all pulling, pushing, shouting slogans...("MegaStar
Zindabad", "Star Star MegaStar", "Kaaboye MukyaManthri..Zindabad"
, etc...) , some of them even took photos in that crowd, at last
after entering into the theatre.. it was really amazing to see so
many telugu people in one place... it looked as if we were in one
of the theatres in our own A.P.
Film
started and went on very well with fans shouting, whistling and
clapping for every powerful dialogue uttered by Chiranjeevi, comedy
scenes, especially for those wonderful Dances. Some of them even
danced in the theatre for few songs. It was really wonderful to
watch MEGASTAR Chiranjeevi in INDRA as IndraSenaReddy & his
Dances with such awesome steps in every song, which we don't know
whether we can see such steps in any of the forthcoming films of
CHIRANJEEVI (it looked as if they were NA BHOOTHO NA BHAVISHYATHI).
3:15pm show had interval, but for
6:30pm show, it was continuously shown without interval because
it was already late and the theatre had some other film in the next
show.
It was really amazing on 15th September to watch INDRA in the midst
of such a huge crowd in Singapore. We thank Producer C. AswiniDutt
& Megastar Chiranjeevi for helping eCineSoft to screen INDRA
in Singapore.
