Openletter to Johnny USA Distributors

Dear Johnny the movie distributor,

I have one question for you. When you are willing to screen Johnny in San Jose, New Jersey, Dallas and even Detroit, why aren't you screening it in Chicago on the 25th? I don't see a reason why not, looking at the Telugu population there. I do not want to wait until May 2nd to go to Chicago and see the movie, so I will rather go to Detroit (which is 7 hours from Bloomington-Normal) and watch it on the 25th. Chicago is only a two and half hour drive, so I would have been grateful if you have screened it there.

Now, I know that you are thinking that, "why should we even consider screening Johnny in Chicago just because of one guy. Let me tell you one thing, there are 25 students just from Illinois State university (which has only about 40 telugu students) ready to come see Johnny in Chicago, more than 40 FAMILIES from Champaign, where my parents live, that are willing to see Johnny in Chicago. And, finally, you can imagine how many students and families will see Johnny in Chicago, and from the areas around.

Either way, I was disappointed to learn from the people at http://www.chicagocinema.com that Johnny will not be screened in Chicago until the 2nd of may. If you happen to know about colleges here, most of the colleges have finals from the week of May 5th.

I am thanking you for bringing Johnny to atleast reachable place, even though its 7 hours away, and I WILL see Johnny no matter what, on the 25th, even if I have to fly to New Jersey.
