Venky, who entered the film Industry as the son of Star producer, has attained such a height that people started calling Rama Naidu as the father of Venky. He changed the way movie people think and inducted freshness into the attitude of Telugu heroes.

His latest film 'Kaisundam Raa'(KR) got the super hit talk on the first show of the first day itself. Venky's earlier films got mixed talk in the beginning and slowly picked up. But KR robbed the pockets of Telugu viewers by getting the universally accepted hit talk right from the word 'Go'. As expected by the cine pundits, KR collected a phenomenal gross of Rs 13,21,54,610/- in 60 days. Insiders are predicting this film to cross a gross of 20 crores.

This film was released with 82 prints for Sankranti. With the unmatched success of the film Suresh Babu went for a second release for Maha Siva Rathri with 24 prints. With a total of 106 prints, this film is getting exhibited with speed collections. Analyzers are having a gala time predicting the 100 days centers of KR. They expect KR to run for 100 days in 75 centers.

This April, we have 4 strong films releasing. These films have Nag, Paawn, Mahesh and Sumanth each starring in them. Will they make some dent on the revenue of KR? Trade pundits say a firm 'No' to this allegation. According to them there is lot of life and fizz in a Family Oriented film like KR and it is poised to run for 150 and 175 days in many centers.

Regarded as the most respected filmy family in Tollywood, Rama Naidu, Suresh Babu and Venky make the lethal combination. And this combination have given a couple of box-office titans in the form of Bobbili Raja and Preminchukundam Raa earlier.

Suresh Babu realized his dream of making Venky the Numero Uno with KR. Venky proved that he is number one by having 5 of his films in the top 10 films that have crossed a share of 10 crores in Tollywood. They are Preminchu Kudam Raa (10.4 crores), Premante Idera (10.5 crores), Surya Vansam (11.5 crores), Raja (12.5 crores) and KR (14.5 crores, expected).
