Story

Sreeram & Janaki are bava and maradalu. They like each other since childhood. But they were separated at an age of 8 because of a quarrel in that joint family. Janaki remains in Rajahmundry as Sreeram's family shifts to Hyderabad. But Janaki and Sreeram still love each other but never tries to trace each other out because they give respect to their elder's decision and stick to the promise they have given to their parents.

Sreeram has a very close friend called Anjali (Rekha). Sreeram and Anjali share 'Nuvve Kavali' kind of relationship (best friends but not lovers). Slowly Anjali realizes that she is in love with Sreeram. Sreeram's father comes to know about the growing affection inside the heart of Sreeram for Janaki and asks him to go to Rajahmundry and meet Janaki. When Anjali is about propose to Sreeram, he says that he is going to Rajahmundry to meet his childhood love Janaki.

The rest of the story is all about how Anjali helps Sreeram out in finding Janaki.

Artists Performance
Rohit has done well in this role that has lots of scope for emotions. His dancing skills are praiseworthy. Gajala is seen on the Telugu screen after a long gap. She did the role of village girl who always wears pattu voni. Rekha is good in her lovable role. However, she is not impressive when her face is shown in close-up. Satyanarayana is good as the grand father of lead pair. Actress Apoorva did the role of villain as the nagging foster mother to Gajala. Prema looks aged in her special role and she is unimpressive in a song where she performed in folk attire.

Technical Departments:

Story: The storyline of the film is very predictable. The Rohit-Gajala thread is inspired by 'Manasantha Nuvve' film and Rohit-Rekha thread is inspired by 'Nuvve Kavali' film.

Screenplay - direction: The director Seenu who worked as an assistant director for Chiru's unreleased film 'Anji' made his debut as director with this film. His direction is average. He is impressive in caning scenes that depicted the relationship between Rekha and Rohit. A few sentimental scenes are also good. But director did not succeed in making this film an entertainer. The slow paced narration and loose screenplay made film unimpressive.

Other departments: Music by Ghantadi Krishna is a plus for the film. Canning of the songs is also good. Dialogues by Yerraguntla are sensitive. K Prasad's photography is good. A couple of fights by Kanal Kannan are good. The production values of debutant filmmaker are impressive.

Analysis:
Though the director chosen a formula story by mixing characterizations from two blockbusters 'Manasantha Nuvve' and 'Nuvve Kavali', he failed to get the emotions out from the characters. The last half an hour of the film is very cinematic and unconvincing. This film is boring at times. Plus points are music and dialogues. The minus points are slow narration and loose screenplay. On a second thought, one would wonder why the director didn't name this film as 'manasantha nuvve kavali' (manasantha nuvve + nuvve kavali)
