Review

Suryam is the Jamindar cum president of that village. He is good at heart. But gives scant respect to the women around. He feels that women are untouchable people who he should not discuss about. He is a widower and has a kid and lives with his mother. Sashi(Ramya Krishna) joins the school in that village as a teacher. Sashi is quite embarrassed by the way he behaves with the women around. She talks to the mother of Suryam and comes to know that he has a flashback that justifies his hatred toward women. His brother opted for a suicide as his girlfriend ditched him for a better guy. He found that his was wife was sleeping around with other guys. Then Suryam kills the lover of his wife and sees that his wife is gone for a suicide After listening to this Sashi decides to change Suryam. Sashi gets closer to Suryam by saving Suryam's son when an accident happens. Later on she convinces that Suryam that all women are not bad. After realizing this he treats women normally and reopens the temples that are consisting of 'Devata's for Pooja. He also gives up his boozing habits and asks all his village men to get rid of boozing.

As our widower falls in love with Sashi, she too moves closely with Suryam. Sashi showers motherly love on the son of Suryam. Just about when Suryam wants to express his love to Sashi ... Rahil enters the village and Suryam comes to know that Rahul and Sashi are lovers and they dated for the past 4 years.

In spite of having her lover around Sashi moves closely with Suryam and his kid. Sashi and Rahul too are deeply in love. But Rahul is having some reservations about Sashi talking to Suryam. As the plot thickens, the viewer is left with two options of Sashi to marry. Is he going to be rahul, her college time love and the man with whom she had four years of relationship. Is he going to be Suryam, a widower who is good at heart and the father of a kid whom she showers motherly love. If you want to know about the guy of Sashi, you gotta watch this film on a big screen.

Performance

Artists:

Nagababu: Nagababu did his role with ease. He is become more seasoned actor with this film. His comedy timing seems to be improving from film to film.
Ramya Krishna: Ramya Krishna has done a neat job. her role in this film is a sensible one and do not need any exposing. She lived upto the role.

MS Narayana: MS narayana acted as a servant cum clerk to Nagababu and they provided a wholesome entertainment with their comedy.

Technicians:

Dialogues:
Ramana Chintapalli, who gave excellent dialogues to youth films like 'Toliprema' and 'Tammudu' has written dialogues for this film. His dialogues are an asset and provide relief to this serious story line.

Music: Mani Sharma has provided SA raj Kumar brand of music in this film. There are no duets. All the songs are well knitted into the films and they are very melodious too.

Direction: V Jyoti Kumar, the debutante director has done a very good job as a first timer. Though the story is a routine one, he gave a fresh treatment in terms of screenplay. The way he knitted the scenes together and made the story flow smooth is excellent. His screenplay stands out.

Analysis

This film is neither a 'must see' film not a 'boring' film. A cliché story narrated smoothly with a slick screenplay. It's a good timepass film. But if you have any expectations out of this you, you may get disappointed. A must see film for Chiru fans. This film might do well in B and C centers thought it may not find liking in urbane areas. We got to wait and see, what verdict the common viewer has for Nagababu.
