How friends can turn villains is the gist of the story. The
protagonist of this theme is a boy (Jayaram), who writes his
first 'love letter' to Anjali (Rimmi), the girl he loves.
He hides this in a library book she is about to collect. However,
Jayaram's friends remove it thinking it may irritate Anjali,
as she is traditionally brought up. The friends don't stop
at that.
They write a letter, as if written by her and put it back
in the same library book Jayaram is using as the medium of
his communication. Though Anjali likes him, she has no idea
of what is going on. Jayaram does not reveal his love for
her. Unaware of his mind, she agrees to marry the boy her
father (Chalapati Rao) and brother (Brhamhi) select for her.
And this news is a shock to Jayaram.
Meanwhile , Anjlai then rushes to Jayaram's house and conveys
her wish to marry him. By then Jayaram has already swallowed
poison. But he expresses his poison. But he expresses his
wish to live and is admitted to a hospital. Whether he lives
to marry her or not forms the climax.
Among the actors, Venumadhav is too loud. Jayaram displays
ease in drama and dance. Rimmi looks a bit older to him. Brahamanandam
and L.B. Sriram are paired for cheap comedy. Music and dialogue
make no mark.
