With his first five films celebrating a jubilee run, Bheemaneni
Srinivasa Rao has attained instant stardom among today's directors.
And now, he has set his eyes on film production, with launch
of "Nee Thodu Kaavali" under the banner of Sampada
Creations (P) Ltd. He has chosen Deepak of 'Sampangi' fame
to play the lead opposite three debutantes - Charmi, Rimmi
Sen and Anuradha Pradhan. Rao is also introducing a cameraman
and a musical quartet with this emotional love story.

"Vasu (played by Deepak) grows up as an orphan. Three
women enter his life, one as a friend, the second as a lover
and the third as his wife. The confusion and chaos he faces
in the company of these three characters forms the crux of
the story. He meets Anupama Pradhan, whose friendship he cherishes
most, and would like to remain with her forever. Charmi, the
other heroine plays the role of Manasa, his wife. But she
suddenly disappears from the scene, leaving him in the lurch,
and Vasu develops a philosophical attitude towards life at
this stage and decides to carry on. The third heroine, Rimmi
Sen, is cast as his lover. The emphasis is more on visual
treat and near natural performances rather than on heavy dialogue.
It has melodious music with nine sequence-oriented songs narrating
sound engineer (Seshu), a singer (Valisha Babji) and a lyricist
                    (Bhashasri) through this film."

Of the nine songs, we have picturised two in New Zealand -
one on Deepak and Charmi and the other on him and Rimmi Sen,
choreographed by Sridhar Reddy," says Rao.

Deepak says his role has given him an opportunity to prove
his mettle. Charmi feels that it is a God-sent opportunity
for her to have bagged a performance-oriented role in her
debut film. "The character I play gives an impression
that I am in love with the hero, but in reality, it is not
so. There is abundant scope to show the contrast in performance",
                    says Rimmi Sen.

Rao plans to release the film during the last week of March.
Ramaprabha, Jahnavi, Vizag Prasad, Radhaiah, Deep Singh, Gautham
Raju, 'Chitram' Sreenu, Vinay Varma and Baby Hasna are in
the cast. Dialogue is by Ramana Salwa. Story and screenplay
are by producer-director Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao. Bheemaneni
                    Sunitha is the presenter.
