Nagarjuna had a tough time at box office this year. All his films, except for eduruleni manishi, proved to be duds at the box office. The biggest bomb among these films is Nava Nachadu.

This film has got very good combination. A hit director KS Ravi Kumar and much sought-after heroines Simran and Reema Sen. They could not pump oxygen into a bad script given by Janardhan Maharshi.

This film is supposed to be a soft romantic comedy. But, lack of fizz and boring narration made this film an attractive fare. Keeravani's music too is not of any help except for a song. Bava Nachadu was shot in just 35 days. The ploy of the team is to minimize the number of shooting days and make the film with low budget. The producer has sold the film at a decent rate and got good amount of table profit. It was the bunch of distributors who lost their money in the venture, as the hero and producer got their due share.
