About Movie:
The movie has Panchayat Head Dada Thakur (Anil Kapoor) who is renowned for his justice and truth. His family comprises his wife Lakshmi (Rekha), his two younger brothers Arjun (again Anil Kapoor) and Nakul (Harish) and Arjun's wife Meena (Raveena). Meena is a girl from a very rich family from the city and she finds it difficult to adjust to the village and family custom but she soon finds her way out. In the mean time the villain (Shakti Kapoor) being unhappy with the judgement given by Dada Thakur 18 years ago plots a plan to destroy the family using his own judgement. Then movie revolves how shakti Kapoor gets success in plan and how family reunites.
Review:
As it is said for many films that sometimes the cast saves the movie the same can be said for Bulandi...which is similar to Virasaat in the sense that it is also in a village. Anil Kapoor has done an excellent job. He looks smart in the traditional village dress and steals the audience towards him. We still remember Anil Kapoor as he was in Tezaab. He looks young and smart in the same way. He is the heart of movie. Rajnikant in the special Appearance is also worth praising. He definitely leaves the mark in movie inspite of having small role. Rekha looks gracious in lovely sarees. She is still lovely and beautiful. Raveena has got no good role but still she has done her role in a good way. Harish has hardly got any dialogue in the movie and so in short he is the same. In between the movie has some cheap and some vulgar jokes spelled by Paresh Rawal and Sadashiv Amrapulkar. Shakti Kapoor also does not turned out to be really good. Aruna Irani also has got no good scope of showing her acting. The music is also not heart or mind catching. Direction is okay. In whole the movie is not good and it depresses audience. The only plus point to the movie is Anil Kapoor...he has really turned out good in these years... I was also depressed by movie and would not recommend u to see...
