star R Narayana Murthy titled his latest film as 'Amma
meda ottu'. Title of this film was announced on the eve
of Mothers Day (8th May) at a press meet arranged in R Narayana
Murthy's office.
Amma
Meda Ottu is the 18th film on R Narayana Murthy's home
banner Sneha Chitra. This film banks on mother - son sentiment
factor. This film also preaches that the human relations between
two persons should never be dominated by money. Story of the
film deals with a mother (Prabha) who sold her son (R Narayana
Murthy) for a meager amount to Telangana Sakuntala. This film
shows the mental agony of mother who repents selling her kid.
At the same time, this film too has social purpose just like
any of previous R Narayana Murthy's films. Hero of the film
fights for his village.
Prabha
is doing to the role of original mother and Telangana Sakuntala
is doing the role of adapted mother. Narayana Murthy is playing
son. Mallikharjuna Rao is playing step father. Lahari is the
heroine of this film. Lots of stage artists are making their
debut though this film.
Shooting
of this film is completed. This film was shot for 34 days
in Yanam and Edurlanka (Godavari district). Post production
work is going on. Incidentally, this film is the first DTS
film by R Narayana Murthy. R Narayama Murthy composed tunes
with the help of lyrics written by praja kavulu. This film
sports seven songs sung by SP Balasubramanyam, Keeravani,
RP Patnaik, Jesudas, Warangal Shankar and Chitra.

Chiranjeevi handled camera. Mohan - Rama Rao does editing.
Ravikanth composed fights. This film would hit the marquee
soon.

Narayana Murthy expressed condolences to Warangal Shankar
(lyricist and singer) who recently died due to cardiac arrest.
