National Award winning actress Priyamani would be playing conjoined twins in her forthcoming horror trilingual " Charulatha".

"Charulatha", directed by Ponkumaran (by Pon Kumaran, a former associate to K. Bhagyaraj and K. S. Ravikumar), is said to be an inspiration from Thai film 'Alone', about two conjoined twins with contrast natures with a few spooky moments. The film will have Mollywood actor Skanda as the male lead while Seetha, Saranya Ponvannan and Arthi play significant roles. Sundar C Babu will score the music for this film.

Priyamani has already given some stunning performances in the past for films like "Paruthi Veeran", and her characterization in "Charulatha" seems to strengthen her niche position. The actress says that such a script has not been experimented before and it'll be an interesting gamble. The rushes of of "Charulatha" have garnered lot of curiosity, and we should appreciate the makers for buying the rights of the original film.
