Chiranjeevi
visited Vijayawada in the morning of Sunday (13th July) and
inaugurated Dr Kasu Prasad Reddy's Maxvision eye hospital.
Producer Aswini Dutt was also present at the location. On
this eve, Dr. Kasu Prasad Reddy has donated Rs. 10 lakhs to
Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust.
Later
on Chiranjeevi reached Madhurapudi on a special air craft
to do some scenes related to Chiranjeevi going to jail in
Tagore film. Then he reached Kambhala Cheruvu junction in
Rajahmundry to unveil the statue of Mother Teresa in the Chiranjeevi's
park that is built by Chiranjeevi fans with a fund of Rs.
2 lakhs. On this occasion, the organizers arranged a stage
for Chiranjeevi to give a speech. Chiranjeevi recollected
his old days when he did his first stage play in Rajahmundry.
He also said that he celebrated 100 days function of 'Athaku
Yamudu Ammaiki Mogudu' in Rajahmundry. Chiranjeevi fans who
attended the function in thousands made lot of hungama at
that time.
When
Chiranjeevi had to unveil the statue of Mother Teresa which
is 30 feet away from the stage, the fans - who were very eager
to get close to Chiranjeevi - blocked the entire venue. Chiranjeevi
tried three times to reach out for the statue, but in vain.
After looking at this helpless situation, Chiranjeevi has
requested the city's mayor MS Chakravarthy to unveil the statue
on behalf of Chiranjeevi.
