The release date of Sridevi starrer English Vinglish has been postponed to October 5. Gauri Shinde has directed the film and her husband R Balki has co-produced it along with Sunil Lulla, Rakesh Jhunhunwala and R K Damani. Incidentally, English Vinglish is also Priya Anand’s Bollywood debut. Ajith has played a special role for the film’s Tamil and Telugu versions and recently, his scenes were shot in Mumbai, whereas Amitabh Bachchan has made a cameo in the Hindi version. The film revolves around a woman who wants to learn English to impress her family. Amit Trivedi has composed the music. The film will be released simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
