Nagarjuna (best actor)
I am very happy and would like to thank Andhra movie lovers. I am happy for my make-up man Chandra for getting the best make up man award. I am more happy for him than me. For me commercial success is more important. I am more happy that it gets an award too. I want to thank the jury of Nandi awards. Bommarillu and Godavari are very deserving films to get best film awards. I liked the selection of awards for Nandi this year.

Dil Raju (first best film)
I am very happy that Bommarillu is liked by movie lovers, critics and jury members also. I will be more careful while producing films in the future as people expect more classics from me. Bommarillu bagged the highest number (7) this year. I am proud to announce I have couple of films in the pipeline for year 2008 which are going to be in the fray for the next year.

Sekhar Kammula (Best director)
I am very thankful to the jury. There are many pressures on them and they had a keen eye to evaluate the best work. It’s a reaffirmation that Godavari is a good work. I am proud of Godavari for getting music, cinematography and female playback singer (andamga lena) awards too. I am on hattrick now. My Dollar Dreams got Swrna Kamalam National award and now got best director for two times for Anand and Godavari. I consider it as a rare feat. I am happy that all my movies created an imapct. I would like to thank GVG Raju who had a vision to produce this film.

Vijay C kumar (Cinematographer)
This is my 1st award in 30 years of my career. I did not expect it at all. I expected Nandi award for Anand because I worked hard. But, I missed it. I am glad about it. Shooting on the water is very difficult task. I am happy that my hard work is recognized. It was a tough job. Sekhar Kammula gave me tremendous support.

Challa Srinivas (Best film critic)
This is my first Nandi award. I applied for it for the 3rd time. I am very happy about it. I penned many good articles during that year in Andhra Bhoomi Vennela edition. I am very thankful to the jury.

Sunitha (best female playback singer)
This is my 5th consecutive award. I had been getting best playback singer award and best female dubbing artist award simultaneously for the past five years. I would like to thank Veturi as he recommended me to music director KM Radha Krishnan saying that he penned it by keeping my voice in his mind. KM Radha Krishna made me work hard for this film and it paid off. I would like to thank director Sekhar Kammula.

Venu Madhav (Best male comedian)
This is my first Nandi award. I had been waiting for this day for years. I would like to thank my mother and father. I want to thank SV Krishna Reddy and Achi Reddy for giving a film chance. I want to thank Rajamouli and VV Vinayak for their excellent encouragement in their films. I want to thank producer Bujji and hero Venkatesh. I want to thank media and the fans of all heroes. I expected Nandi award for many films in the past, but got it for my performance in Lakshmi.

Abburi Ravi (Best dialogue writer)
It is a wonderful feeling. This is my 1st award. I really feel that I would not have written these dialogues if the story were not wonderful. I personally would like to thank Vasu who introduced me to Dil Raju and Bhaskar. I thank Trivikram for introducing me to the film industry. We worked on the characterizations for 11 months. The climax was a great pay off. Bommarillu was the result of perfect team work. Currently I am doing Vijaya Bhaskar - Tarun film and Siddhartha - Bujji film.
